Meaning

Cross the long causeway and five towers rise above the water, the daybreak sky held whole in the moat.

Believed to have been built in the 12th century as a Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu, it later became a Buddhist temple where devotion continues to this day. It is also cherished as a symbol of Cambodia.
